HOW TO USE

- 3Adjust the Tolerance slider. Higher values remove more, lower values keep more detail at the edges.
- 4Choose what goes behind the subject: transparent, a solid color, or a gradient with two colors and an angle.
- 5Download the result as a PNG (transparency is preserved).

Does it work on any image?
It works best when the background is a fairly uniform color that touches the image edges — typical for product photos, logos and screenshots. It is not an AI tool, so complex backgrounds like busy scenes or hair against similar colors will not be removed cleanly.
What does the tolerance slider do?
It controls how close a pixel color must be to the edge color to be treated as background. A low tolerance keeps more detail but may leave halo around the subject; a high tolerance removes more but can start eating into the subject itself.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole process runs on canvas in your browser — the image never leaves your device.
Why does the output have a white edge (halo)?
Pixels on the boundary are a blend of subject and background, so some background tint can remain. Raise the tolerance a little, or drop the result onto a matching background color to hide it.
Which formats are supported?
PNG and JPG uploads. The result is always a PNG, which is required for transparency.
