FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Encryption happens in your browser with pdf-lib, the file never leaves your device.
Can the password be recovered if forgotten?
No. If you lose the password, the file cannot be unlocked, keep a copy of the original somewhere safe.
What encryption is used?
AES encryption, the same standard used by banks and governments for document protection.
Can I remove encryption later?
Only with the correct password. There is no way to bypass PDF encryption without the password.
