FAQ

What can EXIF data reveal?
Camera make and model, exposure settings, capture date and sometimes GPS coordinates. Useful to know before sharing photos publicly.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Metadata is parsed and stripped entirely in your browser.
What metadata is extracted?
Camera model, exposure settings, GPS coordinates, date taken, description, software and any embedded thumbnails.
Can I remove metadata before sharing?
Yes. Pick the categories (camera, location or file info) to strip and download a cleaned JPEG. For JPEGs the pixel data is preserved.
