FAQ

Are these percentages fixed?
No, they are a starting point based on typical Indian weddings. You may spend more on venue and less on photography, or vice versa. Use the percentages as a baseline.
What if I want to change the allocation?
This tool uses a standard split. For a fully custom allocation, add up the percentages for your categories and multiply by your total budget.
Do these include gold and gifts?
Clothing & Jewellery is one category and Gifts & Favours is another. Gold can be a separate expense, add it under Misc if it is not part of the clothing budget.
